APP RESCUE something wrong... or something growing?

Fix what's broken.
Strengthen what's working.

Your app might be giving you problems right now. Or it might be working perfectly well... and you're ready to ask more of it.

More users. More data. More features. More complexity. More at stake.

App Rescue helps with both. We audit, fix and strengthen existing software so it can do what you need it to do next.

how did you get here?

Two different problems. Same next step.

FIX.

Something isn't working.

Maybe it's obvious. Payments are failing. Users are reporting bugs. Pages are painfully slow. Authentication is unreliable.

Things keep breaking. You've changed so much that fixing one thing now seems to disturb something else.

You need to find the problem and fix it properly.

SCALE.

Something is working.

And now you need more from it. Your first users are becoming hundreds. Your simple database isn't so simple anymore.

You're adding roles, workflows and integrations. The app has become important enough that "it seems fine" isn't enough.

You need to strengthen what you've built before asking more of it.

not sure which side you're on? Let Us Look at Your App →
let's look under the hood

What does your app actually need?

Speed.

Why does this page take six seconds?

performance →
Payments.

Please don't let checkout be where we discover something's wrong.

integrations →
Permissions.

Can User A somehow see User B's data?

auth + access →
Database.

Is this structured for what we're asking it to do next?

data →
Code.

Why does changing this break that?

architecture →
Scale.

It works for 20 people. What happens when there are 2,000?

capacity →
Security.

What aren't we thinking about?

risk →
Or maybe you don't know what to worry about.

That's also a perfectly good reason to have someone look.

you don't have to diagnose it yourself. Show Us What You've Built →
yes, you can still call us

Built with AI?

That's fine.

We build with AI too. AI has changed who can make software and how quickly good ideas can become real products. That's a good thing.

But there's a difference between:

"I can make this work." "I know this can handle what comes next."

At some point, that second question starts to matter. You don't need to stop building fast. You need to know what you're building on top of.

first, we find out

Start with the audit.

Whether you're here because something is broken or because something is growing, we don't start randomly changing things. First, we understand what exists.

01

Architecture

How is this application actually put together?

02

Code

Where is complexity, duplication or technical debt creating problems or risk?

03

Data

How is information stored, related and accessed?

04

Auth + Permissions

Can the right people access the right things... and only the right things?

05

Core Workflows

Do the important things users need to do work reliably?

06

Integrations

Payments. Email. AI. APIs. Third-party services.

07

Performance

Where is the product doing unnecessary work or slowing down?

08

Security Review

What obvious security-related risks require attention?

09

Readiness

What needs attention before the application takes its next step?

broken, growing or somewhere in between. Request an App Audit →

The audit looks different depending on why you're here.

If you're here to fix...

  • What's causing the problem?
  • What's connected to it?
  • What's fragile?
  • What keeps creating repeat issues?
  • What requires immediate attention?
  • What can safely wait?

If you're here to scale...

  • Where are the likely bottlenecks?
  • What changes as usage increases?
  • Where does the architecture need strengthening?
  • What needs optimisation?
  • What should change before adding more complexity?
  • What can continue exactly as it is?
Same goal.Understand what exists before changing it.
so... what have I actually got?

Then we give you answers.

What's good.What's broken.What's risky. What needs attention now.What can wait. What we wouldn't touch.What we'd do next.

Maybe your application needs substantial work. Maybe three specific things are standing between you and the next stage. Maybe the underlying foundation needs strengthening.

Or... maybe it's actually pretty damn good.

We're not auditing your product looking for an excuse to rebuild it. We're finding out what's actually there.

please put the sledgehammer down

You may not need to start again.

Keep what's good.
Fix what's weak.
Strengthen what needs more.

If continuing with your existing application makes sense, we'll tell you. If rebuilding part of it makes sense, we'll tell you.

If the whole thing genuinely needs reconsidering... we'll tell you that too.

The goal isn't a rebuild. The goal is the right next move.
diagnosis first

Look. Understand. Move.

01

Show us what you've got.

Your application, codebase where applicable, relevant services, and what you need the software to do next.

02

We get inside it.

We audit the parts of the application relevant to the agreed scope.

03

We tell you what we found.

What's good, what's wrong, what matters and what we'd do next.

04

We fix or strengthen it.

If you'd like Ercomai to handle the work, we agree on scope and get to work.

05

You keep moving.

Launch it. Grow it. Keep building it. Or continue development with us.

that's better.

The important question isn't who built it. It's whether we can responsibly understand and work with what exists.

Sometimes the answer may be no. If continuing with the existing application is riskier or more expensive than another approach... we'll tell you.

okay... what happens next?

Fix it. Strengthen it. Then keep building.

Once the Rescue work is complete, you own everything. Continue independently. Take it to your own engineering team.

Frequently asked.

Do you have to have built my app?

No. App Rescue is for existing software regardless of who originally built it.

My app isn't broken. Is App Rescue still for me?

Yes. App Rescue isn't only for broken products. You may have a functioning application that now needs to support more users, data, functionality, integrations or complexity. We can review what exists, identify areas that may need strengthening and help determine what should happen before the product takes its next step.

My app was built using AI. Can you still help?

Potentially, yes. We care more about the state of the application than which tools were involved in building it.

Do you only work on a particular platform?

No. Whether we can work with an application depends on its technology, architecture and the access available. We'll determine that before accepting the work.

Will you need access to my code?

Usually, yes. The exact access required depends on what we're investigating. We'll tell you what we need before the audit begins.

Can you guarantee you'll fix everything?

No — and we shouldn't. We first need to understand what exists before making recommendations or committing to a repair scope.

Can you help us prepare for more users?

Potentially, yes. We can review relevant areas of the application, identify likely bottlenecks and recommend or implement improvements appropriate to the agreed scope. We won't promise arbitrary user capacity without the engineering evidence to support it.

Will you rebuild my app?

Only if we determine that rebuilding part or all of the application is the more sensible option, and you agree.

Can you fix one specific problem?

Potentially. Tell us what's happening and we'll determine whether a focused fix or broader audit makes more sense.

Can you check my app before launch?

Yes. Something doesn't need to be visibly broken for experienced technical review to be useful.

Do you perform security audits?

We can review security-related aspects of an application as part of our technical assessment. An Ercomai App Rescue Audit is not a formal penetration test, compliance audit or specialist cybersecurity certification.

Who owns the code after you fix it?

You do.

What happens after App Rescue?

You can continue independently or work with Ercomai through App Care.

broken or growing...

What does your app need next?
